Lots
Lots, which consist of merchandise packed into boxes, are generally shipped with carriers such as FedEx or UPS. International shipments can also be sent via USPS Priority Mail, or UPS Air freight.
Shipping larger quantities at a time is typically more economical, as each additional box being shipped costs less to ship than the first one. Keep in mind that international shipments are more cost efficient when shipping larger lots (to a commercial/business address), because we are able to use Freight Forwarding companies to ship your order, instead of regular carriers.
Normally, domestic shipments within the USA take 1-7 business days to be delivered. International shipments can take approximately 3-12 business days.
Pallet Shipments (LTL & LCL)
When shipping pallets, a freight forwarder must be used to ship the merchandise. DNC Wholesale uses many reliable freight companies, but one of the most common freight companies used for domestic and international shipments is UPS Freight. LTL stands for ’Less-Than-Load’ for a domestic shipment of several pallets and LCL stands for “Less-Than-Container-Load” in case of international shipments.
Depending on the number of pallets being shipped, more than one shipment may be necessary. Domestic shipments can be delivered to a home or business address, including a storage facility, freight terminal or a consolidation warehouse. International shipments can only be delivered to business addresses.
As any shipment, the cost of shipping pallets is based on the weight, number of pallets, distance to destination address, and if any other extra services such as a lift-gate are required for delivery. To obtain a quote, simply send us an email letting us know what merchandise you would like to obtain, the quantity, and the destination address.
Truckloads
Truckload shipments generally refer to a 48ft or 53ft truck full of merchandise on stacked pallets. Typically, 26 pallets can fit on a 53ft truck bed without double-stacking. However, many types of pallets can be double-stacked to allow between 26-52 pallets to be put on the truck, minimizing your overall cost per pallet.
The cost of truckloads are usually a flat rate, based on the destination and mileage, independently of whether the truck is full or not. When orders consist of several pallets, and cannot be shipped as LTLs, they are often more cost efficient to ship as a truckload.
Be advised that truckload shipping charges do not include any labor, and that it’s not the driver’s responsibility to unload the truck (unless the truck is ordered with a lift-gate, in which case the driver will assist moving the pallets to the rear of the truck and operate the lift-gate to lower the pallets to the curb).
Truckloads can reach their destination within 1-6 business days. To distant location, rail shipments can also be combined into the shipping, which may lower the shipping cost, but can take approximately 10-15 days to arrive.
Containers
Ocean Container Loads are primarily used to ship large loads of merchandise outside of the United States and neighboring countries. OCL shipment costs are typically a flat rate, based on the origin and destination of the goods.
Containers are usually available in 2 sizes: 20’ and 40’. The time frame for Ocean shipments to reach their destination can range from 14-60 days.

- All shipping quotes are provided with minimal insurance. If you prefer to purchase additional insurance, please let us know prior to finalizing your order.
- Shipping quotes provided, only apply to the actual shipping costs for the merchandise ordered – they DO NOT include customs charges & tariffs or sales taxes which you may or may not incur.
- Many orders are exported on a weekly basis. In the vast majority of cases (over 98%), orders are shipped and clear customs with no delay or complication. Due to the nature of our business though, we are unable to provide detailed manifests and country of origin certificates for many of the items we offer. Typically, that does not cause delays or problems at customs, however in very rare occasions clearing customs with such goods can be problematic. Unfortunately, DNC Wholesale does not and cannot control that aspect of the sale.
